1. Purpose and scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the TextCall Services provided by Intergo Telecom Ltd. It protects recipients, carriers, networks and other customers. It is incorporated into the Master Services Agreement, and violating it may lead to suspension or termination. Customer is responsible for its own use and that of its End Users and downstream clients.

2. Prohibited content

  • Illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Content promoting hatred, violence, harassment, or the exploitation or endangerment of children.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, including phishing and “smishing”.
  • Malware, or links to malicious or deceptive sites.

3. Prohibited messaging practices

  • Unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (spam) without a lawful basis and recipient consent.
  • Sending to recipients who have opted out or not consented.
  • Sender ID / CLI spoofing, or disguising the origin of traffic.
  • Use of grey routes, SIM farms, or routes that breach carrier or regulatory rules.
  • Artificially Inflated Traffic (AIT) or generating traffic to earn payouts.

4. Restricted categories (“SHAFT” and regulated)

Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco (SHAFT) content, gambling, and other regulated categories are restricted and permitted only where lawful, pre-approved, age-gated and compliant with destination and carrier rules.

5. Consent and opt-out

Customer must obtain and keep records of recipient consent where required, clearly identify itself as the sender, and honour opt-out requests (e.g. STOP) promptly. Verification/OTP and transactional traffic must not be used to deliver marketing.

6. Voice and numbering

  • No unlawful robocalling, silent or abandoned calls, or nuisance calling.
  • No CLI spoofing or misrepresenting caller identity.
  • No traffic pumping / access stimulation or artificial inflation of voice traffic.
  • DID numbers must be used in line with the issuing jurisdiction’s regulatory and registration requirements.

7. Security and platform integrity

  • No attempts to gain unauthorised access, probe, or disrupt the platform or networks.
  • No reverse engineering except as permitted by law.
  • Customer must protect its API credentials and report suspected compromise promptly.
  • No use of the Services to facilitate fraud against End Users or third parties.

8. Compliance with laws and third-party rules

Customer must comply with all applicable laws and with the rules of carriers, channel providers (including WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, RCS/Google and SMS operators) and regulators in each destination. Channel-specific policies apply in addition to this AUP.

9. Monitoring and enforcement

TextCall may monitor traffic for security, fraud, quality and compliance, and may filter, throttle, suspend or terminate traffic or accounts that violate this AUP or threaten the platform or networks — with or without notice where necessary to prevent harm.

10. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse or policy violations to abuse@intergotelecom.com. We investigate reports and take appropriate action.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP to reflect legal, carrier or platform changes. The current version is always posted here.
